I am not certain how to start a blog, but since this is for school, I had better letter quickly. This semester, I am taking Beginning French at Pulaski Tech. While attending UALR, I attempted to take Spanish, and was purely overwhelmed at the expectations of the class. As a full time student, fulltime employee, and fulltime mom, overwhelmed is exactly how I felt.
To be honest, I have taken French before. Although it was 33 years ago, I did
not become fluent. I found it difficult to roll my r's, conjugate verbs, and
translate the language when we attended a French restaurant. I did not take
French II in Junior High, but retook French I in high school. That year was not
as successful as the first year I had taken. I enjoyed TRYING to learn French,
and I look forward to learning more about the French language this time
around.
What I will find the most difficult about this course is completing everything on time, using listening skills to decipher wording, translating in the proper fashion, and most of all, research. I plan to do all in my power to get through this course successfully, as well as the other classes that I am currently taking
